U.S. Men's Team Star Christian Pulisic Reportedly Will Miss November Friendlies

Last Updated: October 31, 2025By

The U.S. men’s national team captain, Christian Pulisic, is set to miss the upcoming November friendly fixtures as his club, AC Milan, has requested that he remains in Italy to complete his rehabilitation for a hamstring strain. Pulisic, who sustained the injury during the October international window, has been advised by AC Milan officials to skip the November squad to avoid further risks.

At 26 years old, Pulisic has been a key player for AC Milan, contributing four goals and two assists in Serie A and a total of six goals across all competitions. His absence will be felt by the USMNT as they prepare for friendlies against Paraguay and Uruguay, both of which have already qualified for the 2026 World Cup.

These upcoming matches will mark the end of the 2025 calendar for Mauricio Pochettino’s team, with their next gathering scheduled for March 2026. The draw for the 48-team World Cup will take place on December 5 in Washington, D.C., with the U.S. set to co-host the tournament with Canada and Mexico. The U.S. team will kick off their World Cup campaign on June 12 at SoFi Stadium near Los Angeles.
